I have six years of tertiary teaching experience, including three years teaching writing, cultural studies and digital media in computer classrooms in the Digital Writing & Research Lab. In my time at the University of Texas at Austin, I have developed and taught courses in public discourses around technology, feminist science studies and science fiction, and academic and public writing. I was part of the team that developed the University of Texas’ standard first-year writing curriculum in 2013, and in 2015 I developed a parallel digital curriculum for instructors teaching in DWRL classrooms, or interested in exploring digital pedagogy in traditional classroom environments.
